On your car’s return, make sure it’s refuelled to the same level as when you took the car.
Fuel shortages are charged at a premium to refuelling yourself.
Conditions of Use
Please return the car in a clean condition, or a $50 cleaning fee applies.
You are not allowed to smoke, vape, or have pets in the car, or a $200 cleaning fee applies.
Excellence Car Rentals only has new cars so mechanical problems are rare. If you do have car issues, you’ll be back on the road in no time with 24-hour roadside assistance.
With Excellence Car Rentals, you’ll be covered for the entire hire by 24-hour NRMA or RACWA Roadside Service Membership. Telephone and membership details are on the car’s key ring. (Call-out fees are charged for human error e.g. lights-left-on).
Damage, Accident & Theft
It’s easy to overlook the damage excess when hiring a car, yet an accident could cost you thousands.
When hiring a car, it’s crucial to know what you’ll pay if the car is damaged. This is the ‘damage excess’.
Your responsibility for damage to the rental car is $5,000.
Our optional $10 a day Damage Fee (for Drivers aged 21-79) reduces your Damage Excess to $0.
That’s right, with Damage Waiver you pay nothing in the event of an accident (when you comply with Rental Conditions).
You can add Damage Waiver to your quote when you book.
In in the event of an accident, please follow the four steps below.
- Get the following details from the other party involved: name, address, telephone number, registration number and insurance company. Do not have the car repaired or towed without our permission.
- Telephone the Excellence Car Rentals Office (on key ring). If after-hours call:042-686-3741
- Report to the Police and provide Excellence Car Rentals with the Police Report No.
- Complete a Damage Report form and return it to our office as soon as possible.
Tolls, Fines
If you receive fines, we will charge $35 dollars fee to transfer the fine to your name.
In case our client dont have the Tolls tags and we receive a toll notice a $10 administration fee will be applied on top of the toll cost, this is per toll charge.
